Hi Gert,
You did ask for the most economical source for standards and received a valid answer. EVS are used and trusted by thousands of standards purchasers, including me.
If however you are so concerned by monitoring and surveillance, then perhaps pay the extra and purchase paper copies by mail from BSI. As a precaution while using standards in this format, be sure to apply an aluminum foil, cranial neural oscillation attenuator to prevent remote electroencephalographic detection of any confidential information.

Well there is Adobe and Fileopen in that chain, as the license basically
works with Adobe reader only.
Adobe is a well-known "track everything" internet operator.
And for those bodies..... they act like commercial companies....
Who looks over their shoulders BTW.....?
