Hi, Has anyone come across this problem. While testing a network switch to EN 55022/24 and FCC Subpart B, the customer insisted that a scrolling "H" must appear on a visual display used as a peripheral of the network switch. Test setup included a number of PCs, mouse, keyboard, and visual display. All of these were auxiliary/peripherals of the EUT (network switch). According to my understanding of both EN 55022 and ANSI 63.4, scrolling "H" is only relevant if the visual display is the EUT. I consulted a few people in the field and they and us were of the same opinion that scrolling "H" is not relevant if the visual display is peripheral/auxiliary equipment. Any additional opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance for any responses.
