In the US, there was the case of the woman who called into a local radio
show complaining that the city misplaced the deer crossing sign, because too
many deer were crossing there, and they needed to move the sign so the deer
would cross somewhere with less traffic.

She was serious.

Along those lines then, simply install a "No Deer" sign in your yard: a deer
surrounded by the red circle and the red slash.  I do believe that is a
standard.
