Hi As a safety precaution we have a Safety Interlock installed on the doors of our EMI Chambers but have now been taken to task that they don't meet safety requirements.
I am chasing the Test Equipment manufacturers who I believe may have built to EN61010 (the standard does discuss safety interlocks) but as part of our company's responsibility we also have to meet safety interlock requirements for operator safety. Standards which I've been told are relevant from our Health and Safety team include *IEC 60204, ISO 12100 or CSA Z432-04 * Has anyone else had a similar problem? Rich. - ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
