No we're actually in Canada, which is why I believe we need CSA Z432-04, I assume that IEC61010 would have a Canadian abstract covering us. We routinely test with fields over 150V/m so the safety aspect is important to us, in previous lives I only needed to hang a sign up and no one ever questioned it :-)
Of course once you use the word "Interlock" standards must be applied, so I am looking for some direction on the right approach, I had been told we need a Dual Redundancy Interlock and a PLC to manage the control and that our current Interlock and TTL Logic is not acceptable, at the moment I am looking to get hold of the latest Standards to confirm where we stand, but don't want to make to waste time going in the wrong direction.
