Dear Members,

Could you please comment EU test standards for a wax warmer, using light
bulbs (such as
http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/full-size-wax-warmer-25-watt-replacement-bulbs-set-of-2/1041252949?skuId=41252949&mcid=PS_googlepla_nonbrand_homedecor_&adpos=1o3&creative=43742652349&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=CODW3bfMpMoCFYIfHwod19IMIA
)?

Do test standards for lighting equipment (EN 55015, EN 61547, etc.) apply
to a wax warmer using light bulbs? It is basically a lighting device.
However, the application is not for lighting.

For a product with clock/operating frequency less than 9 kHz, is it
exempted from regulatory requirements, such as EN 55015?

Thank you very much for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Grace Lin
