Domestic, and some international, travel may be required. Position reports directly to General Manager, EMC/Wireless. | Roles and Responsibilities · Support Testing Management in all aspects of related issuesincluding financial, technical, and engineering. · Lead personnel to achieve maximum potential in areas ofeffectiveness and productivity, while maintaining a positive and inspiring workenvironment. · Oversee management of the testing areas and relevant equipment. Assistin the maintaining and updating of accreditations, certifications,authorizations, etc. · Support Business Development groups to understand customer expectationsand grow market share. · Work with other product areas to develop and bundle systemsolutions. · Provide expertise to TÜV clients to ensure product compliance withinternational requirements as applicable. · Provide project management for US-based customers. Project management potentially consists of creatingtest plans, conducting audits, coordinating multiple test projects, andanswering client questions. · Ensure that all test/audit documentation is completed in an accurateand timely manner, and is ready to be incorporated into reports/files. · Review test/audit reports, communicate both orally and in writing withcustomers and give work direction to the technical staff on a daily basis. · Examine the requirements of each test/audit scheduled, to avoidconflicts or shortcomings regarding equipment, test areas and personnelqualifications. · Keep abreast of present and future applicable product requirements,test procedures, instrumentation, technology and TÜV service capabilitiesthrough internal training sessions, external seminars, and reading of technicalarticles as applicable. Ability to plan and organizegiving attention to detail and follow-through; Reliable judgment that isconsistent, adaptable to unusual situations, realistic,common sense approach to job and problems; Motivation, initiative,commitment to self improvement; Willingness to consider other’sideas and to work with others.
