Hi all,
Good day,
1) Why is Class III electrical protection not accepted in IEC 60601-1, standard
for medical device safety?
2) Why is there no uniform values for SELV? Example: SELV is defined as voltage
not exceeds 25Vrms and 30Vrms for IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60950-1 respectively.
Isn't it easier when there is an uniform value for SELV across various product
safety standards?
3) Under what scientific basis, are the values for SELV being defined?
Hope to hearr from you soon. Thank you.
Vincent
