Product in question is a masthead amplifier, previously tested to EN 50083-2. This standard (still listed in OJ for EMCD) makes extensive references to EN 55013 (superseded by EN 55032) and EN 55020 (superseded by EN 55035, not in OJ yet). My argument would be to use 55032/35 instead of 50083-2 as the former are more up to date. These also have an up to date Annex ZZ giving it applicability to the RED as well as the EMCD, unlike to older standard. Given that the product falls into the scope of the RED then this is a further argument for using 55032/35. I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts on the matter.
