Hello all, would anyone have, or know of a California Instruments 848TCM or the schematics for one? We're trying to find out what IC with PCB legend U17 and R21 are on, what we think, is its power supply board inside (there are three PCBs in the unit), the one in question is "A1 ASSY 4848-705-1".
It looks like this: https://accusrc.com/uploads/images/img3782.jpg Please excuse that this is slightly off-topic but thought I'd try a long shot with regards the audience here. It is an old (cira 1983) controller for a California Instruments variable AC power supply we were hoping to resurrect in order to do an experiment with. In the unit, unfortunately, U17, an 8 pin IC, and R21 have gone pop in a catastrophic way - enough to have 'melted' the ident off the IC. Thanks for reading. ________________________________ Matthew Wilson Technical Director [GBE]<https://gbelectronics.uk> https://gbelectronics.uk T: +44 (0)1903 244500 F: +44 (0)1903 700715 Ascot House // Mulberry Close // Woods Way Goring-by-Sea // West Sussex // BN12 4QY // UK Electronics Design // Manufacturing // Component Distribution [ISO 9001 | ISO 14001] <https://gbelectronics.uk/quality/standards> Want to send us a file? https://www.mailbigfile.com/gbelectronics ________________________________ GB Electronics (UK) Limited is a company registered in England and Wales Company Registration No: 06210991 VAT Registration No: GB 925 1744 25 Registered Office: Ascot House, Mulberry Close, Woods Way Goring by Sea, West Sussex, BN12 4QY Disclaimer: This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
