There is probably nothing in standards about this. You may well be at
the mercy of AHJs: some accepting combined wording and some not accepting.

Dear group,
Is it prohibited or frowned upon to combine similar or related
regulatory statements from different government’s regulatory agencies
into one statement for efficiency’s sake?
For example, “This product complies with Part 15 of FCC Rules &
Industry Canada license-exempt RSS-210, RSS-310, etc. … Operation is
subject to the following two conditions: (1)This device may not cause
harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference
received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.”
In this example Conditions of Operation from FCC and IC (ISED) are
nearly identical, hence the combined statement on a product label.
Whose statement gets relegated to the user manual when product label
area is minimal? What if user documentation is extremely limited,
such as a single safety warning/caution sheet?
Looking for accounts where combining statements like the above caused
issues with NRTLs or certification inspectors. Asking for instances
outside of North America, as well.
Thanks in advance,
Chet Summers
