Hi Richard, US and Canada has a grandfather clause. One does not have to go back and re-do the safety test & certifications for already released and NRTL approved products. The latest standard revisions must be used to qualify new product designs. Greetings all, Is there a date of withdrawal for the UL and CSA 60950-1? It appears that as long as the product was certified to 60950-1 before December 20, 2020, and the design does not change electrically or use alternate components that require a certification review, the product can still maintain the 60950-1 compliance. Any assistance and guidance would be most appreciated. Thank-you, ...Richard Georgerian Compliance Engineer HID Global - ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
