One does not have to go back and re-do the safety test & certifications for already released and NRTL approved products. The latest standard revisions must be used to qualify new product designs. It appears that as long as the product was certified to 60950-1 before December 20, 2020, and the design does not change electrically or use alternate components that require a certification review, the product can still maintain the 60950-1 compliance.
