John -- My recollection from working with one NRTL was that they wanted all nonenclosure polymerics on equipment to be HB minimum, even though I could not find this requirement in the related standard. Stated reason, as I recall, was to not provide any additional fuel for a fire, even an external fire. I also had a similar experience as Jim Bacher reports, where different shrinkage rates meant a new injection mold if changing from an HB to a V-rated material. Mike Sherman Sherman PSC LLC
