We actually had this in AXIS for a while, as you can see in this screenshot of the planner test: http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?TrajectoryControl But we took it out because of the problems Jeff stated above and because we didn't want to tie AXIS to machines that have no more than one rotary axis. Someone who wants to play with it should be able to find the code in the axis-historical cvs. Today the rotary axes are ignored for the graphical preview but the axes are shown in the readout and you can home/jog them just fine.
