I've been using a touchscreen for a year now Just set it up under the X windows setup as and input device does every thing the same as the mouse There are sevral how to on setting up touchscreens

I don't recall its protocol ATM but its equipt with a db9 serial connector, so it should be a matter of handling the data it spits out when touched.
