On board video is usually a bad match for realtime linux (see
"Problematic Hardware" under
http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?Hardware_Requirements), and with a
single PCI slot you can't add both video and a parallel port.  If you
can find a similar board with two slots, I would get that instead and
plan to add a VGA card.

My first guess is that any 1GHz machine will be sufficient to run emc2,
even if its math is not as fast as on high-end systems.  Anyway, the
marketing for the C7 says it has a "full-speed Floating Point Unit".
