The implementation of the enable in the stepper example, causes it to come on when the machine is turned on. I need an enable only while a position is being commanded and then subsequently removed.
My stepper motor driver which uses a quadrature input, needs a special enable signal. The driver itself implements a holding current when the quadrature input stops changing. This is triggered about 5 seconds after the enable is removed. So the question is how can this type of enable be generated by hal. (Starts with motion command and ends subsequently).
