Yes, to avoid confusion :)
The point how it wors is that you use one single signal to drive more pins 
like this:

newsig limit-home bit
linksp limit-home parport.0.pin-10-in
linksp limit-home axis.0.home-sw-in
linksp limit-home axis.0.negative-sw

(or whatever the pin names are.. I was just writing from memory)
