I dry ran the G76 example code and it cut "threads" at one constant Z speed no mater the spindle speed. I stopped the spindle and it still cut threads at the same speed. I'm wondering if something is wrong? :-) I guess this is why the other index connections were commented out? Is there a work around for this? If nothing else, I thought perhaps the index could be wired to a general purpose input. Has anyone tried a spindle encoder with the m5i20 board? Thanks!
