Hi Energy, if you have turned off everything in the BIOS that might be relevant (power saving, speed scaling, etc) it probably means that you will need to find a different computer to use. Laptops are notoriously bad for realtime performance; occasionally you'll find one that works, but most don't. Sorry for the bad news.
