I saw it run the Mazak at Roland Freistad's, although the run
time has not accumulated a lot of hours. I have it running my
Bridgeport, and have made a good pile of parts with it. I have
had a few places where the behavior on certain things related to
fixture offsets has required changes in the part programs from
EMC1, but I have been watching for that. I also have run my
minimill quite a bit, mostly working on spindle sync issues,
which are now resolved. I have had no surprises since changing
to EMC2 last February.

What mechanisms are in place to prevent somebody from smashing
the computer with a hammer, or cutting cables while it is
running? At least with my boards, the watchdog timer will put
it in E-stop in a few milliseconds.
