this code just outputs step and direction with some primitive velocity control. you would do much better just using the standard stepper configuration in emc. you need to look at the stepper motor drive card and figure out which pins are step and direction. then it's simply a matter of hooking those pins to the parallel port. you might want to use a 1k series resistor to protect your port. also you will probably need a (10k) pullup resistor. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
