Hi list, I am using a Pluto-P board to drive a three axis machine, I have found
a bug in firmware of current emc2 pre2.2 version.
When move the axis connected to pluto-step.stepgen.1 to negative direction the
feedback (pluto-step.stepge#.2.position-fb) of axies connected to
pluto-step.stepgen.2 and pluto-step.stepgen.3 oscillates around the actually
value of the axis.
I think the problem is in the firmware beacouse when I have moved this axis
the led on Pluto-P board remains unlight also when move the axis connected to
pluto-step.stepgen.0.

Nobody has had this problem?

I think the problem is in stepgen.v file at line:
  wire [W+F-1:0] xvelocity = {{W{velocity[F]}}, {1{velocity[F-1:0]}}};
beacouse this instruction replicate the msb of velocity in xvelocity.
I think the right instruction is:
  wire [W+F-1:0] xvelocity = {{1{velocity[F]}}, {W{0}}, {1{velocity[F-2:0]}}};

BUT I HAVE NEVER PROGRAMMED IN VERILOG...

I have no idea why the problem appear only when move axis 1.

Thanks
Dino
