Hi, Folks:
As I understand it, WINE will allow you to run several windows
executables under Linux.
I'm curious --
1. What CAD/CAM programs will run under Linux using WINE? Vector??
2. Has anyone integrated WINE into the Ubuntu Linux that's underneath
the EMC self install/standalone CD?
3. Would it make sense for the EMC developers to add this to the
distribution? I think it might go a long way towards increasing
acceptance of EMC and Linux if one were able to execute some of the
Windows CAD software?
4. Am I simply barking up the wrong tree?
