Hi Sven, I used to be a photoshop user myself, and found it hard to adjust to gimp. However I found an extension called gimpshop which is brilliant. It basicly rearranges gimp's layout & menus to match those of photoshop.

Sometimes there are DLL's missing though, but they can easily be found with help of Google. There are several public archives out there where one can find them. For example, I'm an old school Photoshop user. Gimp is very good nowadays but it doesn't work as PS and therefore I'm forced to run PS to be fast enough. I use Wine to run it on one of my Suse-boxes and it runs really well. I can run some test if it help (of course if it helps EMC, I'll do it!). I have Solidedge and some CAM-apps I can test. If there's an app that is used more than any other by EMC-users, let me know and I can try to get a demo of it to make a test install.
