Hi David,

sounds like it was probably my fault. I might not have recreated the
checksums corectly.
For the moment you can use it as it is, I will rebuild the CD in the next
couple of days (after 2.2.2 is out)
Note: There won't be a new CD for each version, but if a problem is found we
can nail two things at once.

Regards,
Alex

Subject: [Emc-users] EMC2 2.2.1 CD

Dear All,
I have downloaded the latest Live CD from the European mirror.
The checksum calculates correctly with the one on the download page.
I have burnt a CD using Nero and the CD verifies correctly. When I boot
from the CD and ask it to check the CD for errors I get " 1 checksum
failed" Ubuntu starts and seems to be OK and EMC seems to work correctly
but I haven't installed. I can see the failed file whizz up the screen
but it's too fast to see the filename. Is there a log of this CD check and
should I be concerned about this checksum failure. BTW, I burnt a second
CD with the same result and I'm using good quality CD-R's.

                                                                        Thanks
in advance,

                                                                        David
Winter.
