Stick the output of 'halcmd show' on a webpage somewhere (like http://pastebin.ca/ or http://pastebin.com ) and post the resulting URL so we can see what you have. I want to know why axis.0.index-enable isn't the same as motenc.0.enc-00-index-enable. I bet they're not connected.
