Greetings;

While logged in the emc box from here, installing and checking the python code
extensions that someone just posted a howto link for, I note 2 problems.

emc-2.2.4

1. Except for counterbore.py, the rest of them do not write a % sign to the
end, and therefore emc errors when attempting to load them (or I don't know
how to properly save the code to emc), even if you scroll to the end of the
displayed code and add it. emc also reports it can't load /tmp/so-and-so
too, so it may be PEBKAC or perms.

However, in the process of coding up a more complex part, I can see where they
can be very helpfull by making use of the clipboard save & pasting that into
the middle of one's in-progress programing effort. Kewl, and thank you.

2. Last winter, (over a year ago now) when I had to re-install over that root
account fiasco (yeah, dumb wasn't it) I used the LiveCD version assuming it
would just overwrite what was on the existing partitions. I don't think I
had even been curious enough to run the df command since, but did just now.
The liveCD version used /dev/hda5, which was the then current / partition, for
everything but swap, all the rest of the partitions except the swap on that
drive are now mounted on /media/hda1 (hda2 etc) and contain only a lost +
found directory.

Its a 60GB drive, with /dev/hda5 a 46GB partition, and its only 12% used, so
its not now nor probably ever will be a problem, but its an oddity
nonetheless.
