I think this just requires another analog output. The driver already
outputs a velocity signal.
In Hostmot2, this Velocity signal should be better than the old
HostMot, as it will be calculated using an inverse time velocity estimator.
The inverse time velocity estimator uses both the number of counts and time
between quadrature edges rather than just quadrature counts to estimate
velocity. Using only the counts/sample to estimate velocity gets crunchy at
low velocities where then count/sample numbers get small, or worse get like:
1,0,0,1,0,0,0,1.....
