Gentlemen,
Why should there be any limit to the tool number? I have thought
about a master tool list for the entire shop. This may require five or
six place tool numbers but why should there be a limit?
OTOH, why should the number be limited to 'numbers'? An
alphanumeric description would possibly work very well for a master
tool list.
Just my three cents (inflation you know).
