The software they supply is clearly Mach3. If they are using Gecko drivers, it should be quite easy to trash the Mach and use EMC. But, whay pay so much for something, when you don't want it in the first place? See if you can just buy the mechanical part, or that plus the drive box.
Finally, at that price, you could have a servo system! You might want to think about that. Some servo systems allow you to use the machine manually, and switch between CNC and manual with DRO without losing the axis alignment between the two modes.
