Which code level of the Synergy file did you download/untar? Which Linux distribution and version is on your PC? Any more details you can provide will help. I get odd behavior with animations (openGL?) and on rare occasion the Synergy window and the terminal that started it will disappear (wild guess at buffer overun?). I am using Fedora Core 4 and Synergy code level 14. I think it is best to have the exact Linux distribution that matches a Synergy installation file.
