Hi Ian,

axis.3 doesn't exist as your machine only has 3 axes (0,1 and 2).
so you can use the Xen to enable the 4th stepgen like this:

linksp Xen => stepgen.3.enable

that way both stepgen.0 and stepgen.3 get commanded from the same signal.
