I'm no electronics engineer but after reading the specs I think you will get almost what you pay for. While I'm pretty sure it will make a stepper spin but you won't have much power even after you make some heat sinks for each driver board. If I was on a budget I would go with the Gecko 510. It will be out soon. Don't forget a computer for each machine...
In addition to the electronics you will need motor mounts, timing belts, sprockets, atapters, etc. to connect your motor to each axis.
