Interesting ... I'm assuming you are talking about HID probably what is in I-PAC or U-HID (didn't see either on the HCL? http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?EMC2_Supported_Hardware ) http://www.u-hid.com/ http://www.gamecabinetsinc.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=E Nothing about Linux on their sites? U-hid claims: quadrature, analog (pots), outputs - U-HID requires Windoze setup program<snarl>. Do you know of a make/model that you know works? Do you know which chipset(s) are well supported? I know FTDI has good USB2serial interface support in Linux - I'm not sure which usb-HID chipsets are well supported? ,.,. I'm also looking for comments about GUI + mouse vs buttons or GUI + mouse + buttons... Should there be a mouse and keyboard on the machine? ---------------------------------------------------------------- Karl Schmidt EMail [EMAIL PROTECTED] Transtronics, Inc.
