If you want to get sim working, it may not be too difficult. I don't think it's been done, but since the main dependencies are on some userspace libraries, it should be possible. Getting the in-kernel stuff working is another story entirely. I don't think there are any RT extensions for the Mach-ish/BSD-ish (but not quite either) kernel.
