You have two options. Get full set of CAE software on a LiveDVD or download Salome only as separate package which would run on any Linux distro from this page - http://www.caelinux.com/CMS/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=44&Itemid=40 CAELinux LiveDVD contains bunch of other software for CAE. I think it's worth exploring.
