My saws don't have the welders on them, bummer. I have been researching
making my own (think old micro-wave oven transformers), but I could
easily burn up the $200 to HF hacking something together. Another
approach is to use the welder I already have:

but I would still need to come up with a blade holder/squeezer fixture.
The HF anneals too. HF may win this one.

I have also played with the thought of using my TIG for MIG and spot
welding... someday.
