Thanks for the effort! I tried to implement this into my univpwm
scheme, and got an error message. So, I tried your entire 1axis configs
file set, verbatim, and got the same error :

machine_limit_min[a] = float(inifile.find(section, "MIN_LIMIT")) / unit
TypeError: float() argument must be a string or a number
In both configs, MIN_LIMIT exists in the ini file and appears to have
proper syntax. The system I am testing on is from the Ubuntu 8.04 ISO
image with an automatic update to EMC 2.2.6
Do you have any idea what the problem is?
