I just looked through those instructions with my newbie hat on, and I see that there are parts that aren't needed if you already have EMC2 installed. I'll go through the instructions and try to make them clearer. Once I do that, please try to follow them and let me know where they aren't clear for you. The best way to do that is on IRC from the EMC2 machine, since it's a lot more realtime. Getting feedback from people for whom the wiki doesn't work is the only way that we can make it better. Well, there's also the possibility of someone figuring out what we're trying to say and editing the wiki themselves, but I understand that many people don't have the time to do that.
