Yes, I like that. 

I am using the 4th & 5th axis selector for Feed OR and Spindle OR, 
respectively. I leave the the selector in the Feed OR position: active while 
cutting. This way I can reach down with one hand and turn the knob for 
adjusting the feedrate by 1% increments without even looking at the screen, 
which sure beats using the computer mouse! 
 
Thinking about pendant case design and ergonomics, I checked the 
http://www.shapeways.com/ link that Rob provided, looks very interesting if you 
are good at 3D product design. I kind of doubt that the heay duty plastic they 
use is durable enough for industrial/machine duty - but it is not too expensive 
anyway. I may fire up Rhino give it a try.
