I see Gettys motors, which tend to be very high current at lower voltage, so that is often a problem to find suitable servo drives. You really only need to add some form of position encoder and find a servo drive that can handle these motors.
Your pictures don't show any servo amps in the machine as it is, how does it move those motors? Is it all done by relays?
