hi terry yes i did have this problem and had to make value 10times smaller, add extra 0 in for my spindle as u see in my hal file if u backwards caculate it
but u doing the sam to the tuning that is odd or a coincidence as you say im glad we are both in the same boat to speak of then i have my machine up and running now very impressed with it just as a watch it message the setting under the TRAJ section on ini file MAX_VELOCITY = make this = to overall combined max velocity not max of 1 axis to speak so for me 10m is max of X Y Z, so combined is 17.3m/min , so put in 18m/min have yet to add my 4th axis. (for above 10m/min(squroot(3)=17.3m/min) this will alow the machine to reach its maximum combined rapid speed but still limit each axis to there maximum speed.
