Sebastian (and Chris), I will try to get some more information over the next few days. If you would like to see the configuration, I have posted it here: http://pastebin.com/m2760010c
The servo portion is basically right out of the example. An easy thing to try might be to disable hal_joystick. After that, I guess they will need to start learning how to use halscope. I will be putting together another servo system over the next couple weeks, so I will be able to test with a machine I can put my hands on then. Thanks, Eric This is the first time i've heard of this problem, and it's not at all what i would expect. When emc2 is restarted, it reloads the hostmot2 firmware into the Mesa board and clears all the encoders, so any movements that happened before that time are completely lost. After that it tracks position, and shouldnt get confused by e-stop or anything else. Can you provide any more details? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
