As to your cutting. That router should be able to handle 90ipm cutting .1-.3" deep at at least a 40% overlap. I am using a HF Electric Die Grinder (item 44414, $25 on sale with a coupon) and itplows through MDF. Best part of the die grinder (besides cost) is that the motor cooling air does not flush all the mdf dust into the basement air.
