hi Diameter of my tool .625". Non die grinder or hand router hold more than 0.5" Length of my cutter 6" O.L. about 1.5" inside router. Yes router cost$99.00 I can not go faster nor cut deeper - tool is too long. i need better spindle that can hold tool up to 1" than tool can be longer. I check on CNCzone can find small spindle with CAT30. New one expensive $5200.00 for now machine does what it was design for.
