Is this mail getting through to the list?
After some experimentation, I've determined that my spindle card needs a variable frequency square wave sending to it which ranges from 300Hz to around 1800Hz. I had some success with linking siggen and near to give a "square" digital output - siggen.0.update does not want to run on the base-thread - floating point operation prevents running on the high speed thread? Anyway I thought a simple answer to my problem would be to configure pwmgen in mode 0 and set is duty cycle to 0.5. If I link motion.spindle-speed-out to pwmgen.0.pwm-freq with suitable scaling and limits then would give me exactly what I need. To save lot of time for me - is it possible to do this in the HAL i.e. link a pin to a parameter?
