Hello
The positive direction on my z axis is opposite from what the controller shows.
I have been told I have two options to get the controller to view the proper
direction. The first is to swap the A and B sig. from the encoder as well as
switch the analog outputs from the 7i33T card to the servo drive. The second
option is to change software pins in the .hal file. I prefer the second option.
After reading the HAL documentation I am to assume by just adding a "-invert"
to the pin I want to change will perform the same correction but I do not know
which pin to invert and how. I tried changing any of the pins in the .hal file
without causing a start-up error in EMC2 without success.
This is my set-up
hardware: 5i23, 7i33T, Westamp +-10v analog drive
files: SVST8_4.bit, hm2-servo.hal, hostmot2 ini
Please advise
John
