set the init level to 3 in /etc/inittab
from:
id:5:initdefault:
to:
id:3:initdefault:
and then put startx in ~/.bashrc
echo "startx" >> ~/.bashrc
As for setting the windowmanager to fluxbox, it's been too long since
I've messed with windowmanagers.
